SERIES III LIGHTWEIGHT

The half ton military Land Rover, almost universally known as the Light Weight is a proper little hard nut. it was  designed uncompromisingly to meet the very specific needs outlined by military top brassier, to fit next to another one inside the belly of the army’s transport aircraft of the day carry half a ton of stuff and still be light enough to dangle solo beneath a West land helicopter.
As each successive batch of Lightweight reached the end of its service life, many were used for trailing most underwent some sort of modification or molestation, depending on your point of view. As result, it’s now an increasingly challenging assignment to find a proper Lightweight that looks as it did when in service.
the series III Lightweight looks flawless . it’s been completely rebuilt from the ground up and to a very high standard. What make it particularly attractive is that it appears correct In very detail even the canvas tilt has all the necessary flaps and holes to allow fitment of military aerials and other kit needed on a Royal air force operation.
