On a different topic, we now have a mat for the rear load space. These thing cost well over (some money) new, and even secondhand ones can be chipper. Either way, that’s silly money, so we was chuffed to track one down for a mere tenner.
Now, that trouble with the full width mats is that there’s nothing to hold the bits over the wheel archers in place, so they eventually slither off and you’re left with a pile of rubber in the middle of the load space. That’s neither well designed nor useful.
Some people screw them down, but why make holes in your Land Rover? It’s better to use self adhesive Velcro tape neater, quicker, and you can still easily remove the mat to wash out the back if you’ve been carrying anything wet and smelly, like sacks of old manure.
