We’ve called Land rover Assist ones to make a temporary repair to a split fuel tank breather pipe. And that’s about it, really, other than having the 24000 mile service done at the same outlet. We have been caught out a few times by the tailgate which, when locked open, has the habit of closing itself if it gets caught by a gust of wind, or if it’s on a down slope.
A stronger bracing mechanism would make a difference. We haven’t even thought about changing the Disco, or what we might choose like most Land Rover fans, I love most Land Rover fans, I love the look of the new Defender that’s coming out early next year but the Discovery does most of what that can do, with the added benefit of seating seven in family car refinement.
