SPRAYING OUT OF TROUBLE

Improving the look of a Land Rover with a paint makeover shouldn’t cause you problem unless you start doing it on a massive scale. Local authorities are only interested in spry shops producing a tonne or more of wasted product thinners, unused paint etc, per year. Thos is well in excess of a home based respray or two.
Spray inside your garage if you can, and consider the noise of a compressor and any polishing machine you use afterwards. Pour waste materials into a sealed container and take them to your local tip, which should have a separate area for their disposal.
Paint manufacturers are now only allowed to sell cellulose paint in countries outside the EU. By the end of 2007, it will be illegal for UK paint factors to sell any cellulous paint they have left on the shelves. Craftily stashed cellulose paint at home but once it runs out, the water based replacement present a problem of its own.
