HOWEVER MUCH YOU WANT TO SPEND

Many kept the 100 inch wheelbase, giving more storage space and a better ride than the 88 inch, while retaining the Range Rover’s turning circle. Others shortened the chassis to match existing wheelbases an 80 inch special on a shortened Range Rover chassis is an ultimate trials vehicle.
These days, the amount of relatively cheap 90s has reduced the numbers of chassis receiving utility bodies, but they still appear. To get a half decent 90 you’ll be looking at spending a couple of thousand of money.  Or you could buy a Range Rover for a couple of hundred and spend the same amount on an old Series vehicle, then build one to your own spec.
It will take longer it’s not a get in and drive option but if you have the skills to do the work yourself and if the spare time to do it, the cots will be minimal. And finance it by selling off the bits that you don’t need, like the interior and glass of the Range Rover or the engine, gearbox and axle off the Series.
