Here’s where the scene change in flavor of the 90. With locked front and rear diff, M\T rubber, a 2inlift, long travel adjustable shocks and rock sliders it’s got our vote, and the more we tried to punish it on deep wombat holes and tracks that stop most 4WDs, the more the power and torque won as over. When the track become a sea of thick mud, a rough rocky two wheel in the air’ track where you’d stop to take a deep breath, this is home to the 90.
The 90 has an independent front suspension and live rear axle. We noticed the biggest improvement was the area of shock absorbers development, with improved shock valving combined with a suspension system. The 90 with solid front axle 2in suspension lift, long travel tough dog shock, (the competition shocks) front and rear diff locks and Maxsess muddies has proved reliable and effective on the many outback trips over the years through rocks, snow, mud, sand and endless corrugations. If that read ball come bouncing down our street, the thought of a Land Rover in the garage would be mouth watering. However, if you love the great outdoors, places where freedom comes from tacking rough terrains in remote places, an 90 is a truck you can further personalize and transform with basic modification
