BEFORE BUYING DEFENDER 110 (STATION WAGONS)

If you want a defender. This has long been a fact of Land Rover life and is responsible for the relatively high prices we all have to pay to get our hands on one. However, family runabouts can’t what every One Ten can do take you to places and give you experiences that you never dreamed of before. Even the humblest 110 will make you look good off road as you breeze over every obstacle at the local pay and play center.
So, where do you start? Step one has to be to decide why you what or need one. Once you’ve identified what you’re likely to use it for, you can then find the vehicle to fit the bill. An old One Ten station wagon such as this is the ideal choice if you like servicing and fixing your own motor. It’s mechanically very simple to work on everything’s accessible, although some components are big and heavy. It’s shame, especially if your budget won’t quit stretch to one. But don’t despair if you set your sights on the immediate per Defender era of the late 1980s, just look at what you can buy for under value.  Station wagons are still in demand and sell quickly. 2.5 turbo diesel engine is running well and not overheating, leave it alone and just enjoy driving it.
