Essentially, they fit underneath the existing seat runners and lift the seat slightly, allowing it to be moved and extra three inchers further backwards. If only you had known what a dramatic difference they make, this would have been done years ago.
Everything in supplied including new hex has bolt and a suitable Allen key. The instructions are also very well written and easy to follow. Just undo the existing seat runners a handful of bolts fit the mud rails into the existing holes and bolts the seat on to the rail. The only way mud stuff could make the job any easier would be to come around and fit them for you.
When you first sat in the driver’s seat the difference was startling. You’re raised just over an inch but it feels and more like a foot and the new driving position is more akin to that in your Discovery.
