Heavy duty flywheel

Instances of failure of dual mass flywheels internal springs has promoted Britpart to make heavy duty flywheel for special applications these include rough, heavy towing by commercial operators, where the smooth transmission afforded by the dual mass flywheel is less important. The heavy duty flywheel is solid, with no damping effect to listen the transmitted engine pulsations. So it comes as a kit, including a clutches friction disk that, unlike the standard disk, has cushioning springs to soften the take up of drive, similar to those of a conventional clutch disk. Special clutch release bearings also supplied.

  Heavy duty flywheel has some same fixing/drillings. Intended for heavy walk/ towing where vibrations / pulse damping not critical.

Heavy duty clutch is sold as a kit with the heavy duty fly wheel, include friction disk with damper springs to soften take up.
