This vehicle also made under the Land Rover family. It was way the little Land Rover plodded steadily through the thick mud and up the slippery slopes of my testing boom hole off road rout that finally secured its position as my favorite compact. Mind you the freelander had a lot going for it even before taking its off roading abilities into account. For one thing, of all the car in this group it’s the only one that has true off road styling exuding exactly the sort of image that evokes thoughts of rolling jumbo plain, just as portrayed in those been anywhere exciting lately post. For another, with the 2.5 litre V6 engine mated to tiptronic style automatic transmission, the freelander lively on road performance that would put it ahead of these revels both in a dash away from the lights and in term of sheer top speed.
