The Winch is most popular recovery equipment and very important powerful machine. The winch is going to be a category. Normally used the standard defender vehicle 8000, 9000, or 12000 winch. The most competition vehicle is use 8274 winch. Powerful, reliable, high quality, heavy duty series wound motors, sealed solenoids, 3 stage heavy duty planetary gearboxes and easy to operate positive free spool levers. Automatic, external double cone brake on the end of the gearbox (ideal when using Dyneema bow rope as there is no heat build up by the usual in drum brakes when lowering out) with a positive end of rope fixing to the drum. The model of 8000 offer a fast line speed making them ideal fore off road use, whilst the 9000 winches are ideal for the vehicle recovery operators. Both drum support accommodate “V- ring seals bearing onto the drum flanges to help stop the ingress come with a 5m (17) lead, and the battery cables are 1.5m long.
Each kit comes complete with a heavy duty snatch block, roller fair leads, wire rope hand saver strap and mounting hardware. A minimum of612 mm clearance is required for bolting the winch into place
