Hydraulic system
The springs in the new clutch pressure plate will be stronger than those in the old one and all through the hydraulic system may have coped fine with the old components, the resistant of the new clutch may cause warn seals in the master cylinder and slave cylinder to start leaking. Some owners renew those as a matter of course when renewing the clutch but there`s little pointing going to this trouble and expense if the system is going to cope, anyway. In my view its better to keep on eye on the hydraulic and replace the cylinder only if needed. Its just as easy to replace them later when the transmission is in place. If replacing the slave cylinder, bleed the system through with clean fluid before doing so otherwise debris in the pipe can wash through when finally bleeding the new cylinder, damping as its seals and causing leakage.
