IN THE PARK

Elsewhere in the park, we must have hit rest time all the animals were sitting around watching the cars. But the award for the most bored must be the tractor driver looking after the elephants. With the big shovel mounted on the front, his job is to get in the way if the elephants  decide to charge at anything and judging by their appearance, they’d no intention of doing so.

At ticket for passport tickets for a family of four, it isn’t cheap day out, but you can’t return  and visit the bits you didn’t manage to get to in one day it took us about three hours to get round. If you own a Defender and enter the monkey enclosure, the part number for the filler strip is. They’re about a fiver each.
