CHALLENGING

You can often tell which are the best accessories to fit to Land Rover by looking at the vehicles owned by those who service them. They tend to know all the options and which bits are best for any particular job. Starting with the base 200Tdi 90 that we bought couple of years ago, we had added a verity of parts to make a formidable vehicle.

Oversize 36/12.5R16 Simex tyres are fixed to oversize rims. These, in turn, require oversize wheel arches, which we bought from innovation 4x4. They’re glass fiber and bit rigid. Obviously, when the flexible ones come on the market, will be first in the queue. Suspension  is modified by using a Max traction set up at the rear, which moves the top damper mount forward and uses long travel progressive springs that will extend to a whopping 24 inches without dislocating from the spring mounts.
Other modes are the roll cadge and raised air intake, which, like many other parts of the Land Rover, is showing tree damage.
