THE HISTORIC LAND ROVER

It’s more than quarter of a century since the last Series Land Rover were phased out, we’ve always known they’re old, but  the public is catching up with us now. Heads are starting to turn in the street when a IIA rolls past.

So as well as your second car, off roader and junk shifter you’ve got something recognizably historic.
Series II and III’s are leading the charge for older vehicles restorations, and good original vehicles are sought after and cared for with the 60th anniversary of the launch of the Land Rover not too far away, there’s a feeling out there that it’d be nice to have something old to celebrate with. Would that be a sensible buy?
