LAND ROVER LITLE BROTHER (PART I)

The study short wheelbase Ninety was the natural here to the 88 inch Series III so much so that it even started life with the same gutless 2.25 four cylinder petrol engine. Even the 2.25 diesel was a chip and a bit of the old block.
But everything else was new well new to the Land Rover buyers at least. It is under the skin that the real change has taken place. The ladder chassis remains, but the two beam axle are now suspended on coil spring, wrote car Classic in 1984 August.
Range Rover classic owners had been enjoying the comfort of soft coils and the agility of permanent four wheel drive for more than the decade. But they also had the awesome, Buick derived V8, something denied to the utilitarian model until May 1985 to precise.
