SOUND SYSTEM

Long journey can be tedious without something to listen to. And if you’ve fitted soundproofing, you won’t even be able to sing along to the transmission tune. So you want some form of in car entertainment, or ICE as those that drive plastic jelly moulds call it.
Some of the latest Land Rovers have multi speakers, surround sound ICE which would require substantial work to change, and you would be best off getting a professional to do this. But older vehicles can be improved relatively easily. All coil sprung models have places to fit DIN (standard) sized radios, even if you have to buy housing. Some Range rover and Discovery’s need shorter than normal head units, so check the overall dimensions head units, so check the overall dimensions before you buy.
