LIGHTING

Not surprisingly, headlights on cars are great for driving on highways. They point were the vehicle is going and will generally be good enough for the speeds it’s capable of. Adaptive headlights on some new Land Rover have taken this further, allowing you to see round corners. But standard lights simply won’t do if you have improved it to go faster or if you intend off roading at night.

If you have seal beam headlight units, you can upgrade them to halogen item with replaceable bulbs giving better light output. Otherwise, you can fit extra lights the number of which is only limited by the output of your alternator.  When you fit new or replacement lights, always ensure they are wired correctly with suitably rated cable and fuses. And if they are to be used on the public highway, they meet the legal requirements.
