RANGE ROVER THROUGH ENDLESS TURNS

The rain gets heavier and the clay surface become more testing for the Pirelli Scorpion road biased tyres and the Range Rover’s traction control. On a couple of cambers, the pull of gravity is greater than the friction between the tyres and the track surface, so the vehicle slithers sideways.
Next we have a quick wheel wash and safety check before heading for a superb back road that’s as bendy as it gets, snaking one way then the other for mile after mile. What a great place to test the TDV*’s acceleration, braking and handling and never get tired of that. I am certain Land Rover’s engineers could eliminate most of it if they wanted, but I bet many hours have been spent fine tuning the sound until they achieved the desired tone.
