SOUNDPROOFING

What do you mean you don’t need it? There something about listening to the orchestra of transmission clunks and whines and the lightly whistling turbo to remind you that you are driving one of Sol hull’s finest, but a bit of toning down won’t go amiss either.
These days, people expect quieter vehicles. The whine from the gearbox might mask the noise from the kids in the back who want to know if they are there yet, but if you want to hold a conversation at motorway speed, you’ll have to make modifications.
Series and Defenders generally require the most work when it comes to reducing noise. Being essentially utility vehicles, the noise levels generated by the vehicles weren’t usually a problem. In fact, they were probably a bonus, making heavy booted navies slow down so they could still hear Radio2.Soundproofing can be fitted in the form of pre cut pieces, moulded acoustic mat covers, and even liquid.
